Just wondering what this little girl is. We are picking her up tomorrow from the previous owner. Thought either tremper or bell but tend to get them confused. These are the pictures the previous owner provided, sorry they are so blurry. If needed I can post more tomorrow after we pick her up.
Hey guys. As you know, I try to keep you guys updated on Fatty and her feeding problems. I haven't been on much for the past month and this is what has happened. She completely stopped eating crickets and won't even bother trying to hunt them. I've tried them of all different sizes and she just...
I'm currently looking online to buy some worms for my girl, and is as wondering which I should get? Hornworms silkworms or Phoenix worms? As you all know fatty can be picky and weird about her food so I want something she will like and I can keep fairly easily. Also, if you know of any decently...
Took a few pictures a bit ago of Fatty exploring and enjoying her new large tank and brand new setup. Liked a few and found one rather amusing.
And my my personal favorite.
I love this girl so much.
This isn't a picture of my tank, however it's a picture of my youngest, newest gecko walking on just same plain tile from the home improvement store. Just to give you a picture to go with the idea.
This is my adult females tank, which I have just redone. It is a display cage. I do have part...
So it is finished! Well I haven't taken the Spider-Man background off teehee. I'll do that later. So here are some pictures!! Went with a sand/Eco earth substrate, wood, fake succulent plants, and a few rocks.
HA I totally forgot about the Spider-Man background! Oh goodness I'm embarrassed. I got it for $1 at the pet store awhile ago and this was my hamsters tank until recently. Just moved her to another and gave fatty this. That will definitely be coming off! The rock backgrounds for a tank this size...
Not the best picture, as I just stuck things in to see how they looked. Still have work to do and other things to buy. Thinking of getting rocks and wood to spruce it up.
She does alright while in another tank, however with the new tank change I may just feed her in her new big cage. I would...
Today I finally got around to giving Fatty her own 40 gallon breeder tank. :) I currently have everything set up the way it was in her old 20L. I have half tile and half paper towel as of right now. However I want to ditch the paper towel and do something else. I was thinking of doing a sand/...
Hey everyone, I know most people wish to use sand for the natural look but impaction risks are what holds them back. I just came across Exo Terra's sand mat! It's like the terrarium liners/ carpet, but has a sandy look and feel. Haven't used it myself yet as its a new product, however it looks...
Just picked up a Flukers heating pad and am very pleased. Unlike some of the other UTH's, this doesn't stick to the tank. You simply just tape the outer edge to the tank. Which means it is reusable! Also it is supposedly run around 100 degrees constantly, so with a thermostat it should heat up...
Took a picture of fatty today while I had her out running around. I been taking her out periodically to let her run around my bed to get some exercise. Hopefully that'll help with her weight loss as well. Here she is trying to look like a bulldog ;)
About 2 months ago we purchased our second gecko, a high yellow jungle who is known by Baby G until we know the sex.
Here he/she was when we purchased him/her:
And here a few shots from today!
Growing very nicely and turning out be a interesting little looker! I'm so glad it's kept the...
Today I went by local Petco and was outraged by the conditions I saw their reptiles in. 15 leopard geckos in one cage, crested geckos with floppy tail, no branches or foliage, and snakes squirming like their dying. Multiple beardies to one cage, of all sizes. Iguanas with stuck shed. And much...
Cricket,
I have had my leopard gecko for about a year and a half, I got her from Petco when she was just a hatchling. Bad place to get them, I know, however at the time I fell in love with her and had to have her. She started in a 10 gallon as a hatchling, then moved to a 15 gallon and is...
