What would be the perfect humidity for Tokay eggs? I use an automatic misting system so I can keep humidity at a nice constant and wanted to keep it at whatever is best for the eggs. Any advice much appreciated as I lost more eggs than I'd have liked last breeding season.
I wanted to share my observations with people about Tokay enclosure sizes. I currently have 4 different sized enclosures that I keep Tokays in. They are...
30 x 30 x 45 (hatchlings)
45 x 45 x 60
46 x 60 x 60
45 x 60 x 90
Out of all of these enclosures I have found the 45 x 45 x 60's the best...
Thought I'd pop up a few pic's of my (nearly) completed Tokay (and Tegu) room....
I modified these 45 x 45 x 60 Exo's so I could stack them. I also made background's that hook on and off and divider's that slide in so they feel more secure and I don't have problems with them being able to see...
Thought I'd share a few Tokay pictures that I have taken over the past couple of weeks. Some of the colours aren't the best as they are still settling in after the big move. some are just starting to "blue" up =]
Hope you liked =]
The only plans I have at the moment is to prove the gene out and see if they come out like that, or whether its a progression with time.
Unfortunately most of my morphs are male so proving them out is the first thing, and then work on doing the double with whatever I have!
either way I'm...

The interesting thing with him is his patterning. The photo doesnt show it but his "patches" arent the usual I have seen on a calico. He...
Im struggling to classify this Tokay Morph...
He is currently settling in but when he arrived he was a nice bright blue, but after a couple of weeks he is still has this dark colouration. I dont want to start handling him yet while he is getting used to his new home but I think the dark...

I have noticed that in England the most common morph is the blue headed green. I have also heard that both that and the powder blue gene are the same gene? if this is true and if bred 2 blue headed greens could I possibly produce some powder blues? is it completely random which one you end up...
What sort of age/weight should I expect to start seeing waxy deposits in male Tokay's pores? I currently have 3 that are all showing pores (not a solid line of pores yet) but no waxy deposits. im keen to know what sexes they may be!
I would say they weight around the 80g mark.
as some of you know, I took on a few Tokay Morphs recently that were part of charles thompsons breeding project. one of these was his Calico Male.
I also took on 3 offspring from some of his morphs. one of which is a calico x calico. from what I understand. there are 3 calico gene's. is...
Hello people, my names Tom and about 3 months ago I took 3 of Chaz' (charlesthompson) Tokay Morphs. I live in England and Tokay morphs arent very common out here so I feel pretty lucky to own some =]
