Paroedura vazimba incubation, and newborn care advice needed.
I'm looking for some advice from anyone that has successfully bred and raised P. vazimba.
I have a 1.2 group that I keep in a sub-tropical terrarium, that I mist every 2-3 days. My females have done very well and are producing eggs...
I have my fingers crossed!!!!!! This photo was taking with a flash at night, while she was basking under their "night" light. I checked the spot where she was basking with an infrared thermometer, and she was at about 105º F. To quote Jon Boone "One egg at a time." The world needs more captive...
Microgecko persicus euphorbiacola
Just had a chance to meet Jon Boone, and pick up a few geckos as well. In 1999 I bought a group of six Microgecko persicus euphorbiacola for $12 a piece from East Bay Vivarium, it goes without saying that prices are much higher now. Unfortunately due to my...
Years ago I bought a small group of WC Tropiocolotes persica from East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley, Ca. Unfortunately I had to sell my gecko collection due to a move. I have recently seen other Tropiocolotes ssp. in collections, but no persica. Is anybody in the U.S. working with persica?
Thanks!
I just received two P. fasciatus from Karin Benker. Awesome new species for me! Woot Woot!!!
I can see myself getting bit hard by the Pachydactylus bug here in the near future. I'll post some photos after they've had some time to settle in! Thanks Karin!

I came across a pdf. article about Geckoella collegalensis, which made me wonder if they had ever been imported into the States. What a beautiful species! Any info would be appreciated!
I've just put a deposit down on a pair of Matoatoa brevipes. I know of only one person that has bred these in captivity and that is Jon Boone. Not much information to be found on the internet about this species, other than general locale info. Does anybody here have any experience with this...

I had a 2.6 group a few years ago, and I sold them for another project.
I've been regretting it ever since. I really miss hearing them chirp at night. It was a nice sound to go to sleep to. I think I'm going to have to invest in another group someday.
