    Double shed

Pongo started shedding about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Yesterday I was checking on him and noticed that in addition to the dry skin helmet he was wearing his body was white again. Last night he started shedding again before he even finished the first shed. I though that was interesting. This morning all...

    Shed issue

This was the last of the trouble shed I noticed this afternoon. 1 q-tip, some lukewarm water, and some assistance was enough to get it off. On a side note, I was going to clean out the poopy tile and I noticed a pretty gnarly smell coming from the enclosure. I removed the cool hide and in...

    Feces sample

Looks like good news and bad news. The good news is that it appears my Pongo has eaten. There was a feces this morning. This is good because it appears he is eating. However, I also saw this, apparently, regurgitated cricket as well.

    Rare sighting

OK. Here is Pongo in all his glory. Shedding is just about done except for the top of his head. Reminds me of Jim Carrey in Mask.

    Rare sighting

Lol. My wife didn't see him either. I have isolated him. All you see is his head. There is a reflection of him in the glass. You can see his eye and the nose is facing down. You still may not see it. Lol.

    Rare sighting

... kind of. My new leopard gecko (had him for 2 weeks) has been hanging out in his hides pretty much not stop while he gets acclimated. I have barely seen him as he doesn't just wander around in the evenings or at night. He hasn't really eaten anything yet which has had me a little concerned...

    Opinions wanted (U.T.H., Bulbs, etc.)

In my current set-up, I have a 20 gallon tank with a Zoomed medium U.T.H. Also during the day I use a 60 watt Zoomed daylight blue bulb on a dimmer that allows me to control the ambient temperature as well. At night I have a Zoomed moonlight 40 watt also on a dimmer. Currently, I do not run...

    New Leopard Gecko :)

He ventured out for a bit. He's still a bit nervous in his new home and getting acclimated.

    New Leopard Gecko :)

After weeks of looking for the right gecko, I finally picked one up this morning at Repticon Los Angeles. I picked up a beautiful Mack Snow. Stay tuned for pictures. I'm very excited. I have had his enclosure set up for about a week in anticipation. This will be my first leopard gecko. :)

    Breaders

Breeders I will be attending Repticon Los Angeles this weekend looking for a leopard gecko. I am hopeful I will find what I am looking for. However, in the event I don't find what I am looking for, I will go through a breeder. I curious what breeders some of you have used. Which breeders do...
