S. ciliaris? female? Id assistance requested!

I just picked up this Strophorus about two weeks ago at a show (my first Strophorus, at that). The price was WAY too good to leave this gecko on the table. But - the scientific name was not on the cup, and the owner could only remember "Diplodactylus". Best I can tell, it looks a whole lot like a ciliaris. And a female at that. He told me it was a 5 year old male... But I'd be hesitant to believe that due to the lack of hemipenal bulges.

It´s defenetly a Strophurus ciliairs ciliairs, i´d guess it was not a very experienced gecko keeper who sold it to you, it´s a female // Regards David

Thanks for the reply. Based on photos I've been able to find on the 'net, I figured it was a ciliaris - just wanted to make sure!! I appreciate the words.

Yup - further research shows the guy had less of a clue than I initially thought (now that I've properly ID'd the misidentified Frog-Eyes as well! :roll:
