Can you suggest any "other" species that dont mind being handled and are slow. I am also interested on Flying Geckos so any information would be helpful (but not only for flying geckos).

For a gecko that tolerates handling far better than others I strongly recommend the Oedura castelnaui (Northern Velvet Gecko). This gecko is about 6.25 inches from snout to tail tip and weighs from 17-20 grams.
