I was looking for some good caresheets for Oedura & Diplodactylus species. Any reccomendations for first time keepers of either would be great too. Thanks guys.

Hi Glenn,
As for Diplodactylus, it's a wide ranging genus so there will be differences in acge sizes etc but a there is a good article on their care written by Andreas Laube for Diplo's. The article can be found in volume 2 issue 2 of the Global Gecko Asociation's magazine 'Gekko', the article is called "Captive maintenance and breeding of some ground dwelling Australian geckos. Part II: Diplodactylus byrnei Lucas and Frost, 1896 D. tessellatus (Gunther, 1875) and D. steindachneri Boulenger, 1885. "

I welcome anyone who is interested in some concise Brumation Guidelines specifically written for Oedura castelnaui by Jerry Peebles in February 2004, but probably adaptable for other Oedura at least to e-mail me at ElizabethFreer@aol.com. All I did was the typing! I tried these guidelines last winter for four pairs of Oedura castelnaui. All eight animals "recovered" from brumation!
