I will be recieving my first E. agricolae in a few days. I've heard that they can be kept the same as crested geckos. I keep all of my rhacs on papertowel with egg carton for cage furniture. Is this type of setup acceptable for Eurydactylodes or is a more natural substrate preferred.

Thanks in advance.

Thats a nice setup. Im tying to avoid using a natural substrate but if thats what is required to properly maintain the species then thats what I'll do. Does anyone use papertowel for their eury?

Why don't you want to use a naturalistic setup?

You cannot appreciate an animal in a tub with papertowel. If you want to observe these geckos natural behaviour than naturalistic is the way ;)

Lots of people keep Eurydactylodes in simple setups and have had just as good success and healthy animals with paper towel, it's just a matter of taste. Whatever works.

I keep my young Eury's on papertowel and my adults on eco-earth.

How much do these usually go for? I have seen them offered from 2 people for around $600-$650.........is that a good price?

Thanks
