Yes it´s a regrown tail, the female like him very much when it´s feeding time.
No it´s not a locale, it´s a patternless male, and he is daddy to about 10-15 babies but all of them are orange or pink, (the female are pink).
And 1 baby was albino from them.

that's interesting that all the females are pink when it comes to the patternless gene...possibly sex linked? Have you done any test crosses with this yellow male in attempt to produce yellow progeny?

Also, is the patternless gene dominant? If not, was the mom a patternless as well or a het.?

I love pilbarensis :D
