This is crested that I just rescued. I dont know alot about cresteds so any help I would appreciate. The lady said that it hasnt ate in 4 days but I have got him to eat some peach baby food buy rubbing it on his lips and I mixed a little of that t-rex crested diet in with it and he ate 2 small crickets for me today.

Day temps should be around 72 to 78F, night temps should just drop 4 degrees. You might not want to mix the mixture with the baby food, I've heard that it cancels out the nutriants or something because the mixture has "everything" they need. You might want to try different types of baby food to see which one yours prefer, some of mines go nutts for bananaxstrawberry.

i went and looked at it tonight to see if it ate any of the baby food and of course it didnt so i held the bowl up to his mouth and he started licking it up he acted like he really liked it. I dont think he has ever had anything but crickets before. Also thanx for the link to the crested gecko care sheet. I dont think he is in as bad shap as i thought but i will know more once i can get a fecal sample done.

hmmm.... kinda looks like sand, considering that its on the glass and the background too. If so, please switch him over to a safer bedding like paper towels.

The spots are not white that is just the camera cause it is crap it is actually a light brownish yellow color. He is on paper towls he has a real basic setup for awhile so I can keep a eye of him like when he goes to the bathroom so I can get a fecal exam done. Also the white spots on the class is resedue from the water when I had a tokay in there it has all been steralized with bleach and water i just didnt have time to get my scraper out and get all the white stuff off the glass but that is my mission this weekend. Here is a pic of his setup for now.

I'd stick a few branches and some fake foliage in there with him so he feels less stressed. Doesn't have to be many, just enough for him to rest on.

I am going to do that I have that little bit of greenery that he can hide in and a small rock hide I was jut waiting to put the branches in there till this weekend so I couuld bleach them and clean them really good since they have been in other tanks since I have cleaned them last.
