It was cool in Nassau. When we went in the mid 90's, we had a local escort that showed us around. The sights were beautiful, but we only stayed a day on the island as it was via a cruise. Same thing with Dominican Republic. On the other hand, I spent a week in Poretta, Italy and a week in Negril, Jamaica. I'm definitely spending more time in both those places.
