Here is my reasoning on my babies...Do you see how the 1st pic ( which I think is a female) has a heart shaped post cloacal swelling that tapers slightly as it attached to the tail base and the 2nd pic (which I think is the male) has a more "square" or "boxed" post-cloacal swelling with a wider area at its tail attachment ? The "female" is also MUCH larger than "her" clutchmate ? Only my .02.

I think, as you stated by the shape of the bulge, the top one is female and the bottom male. That was my gut feeling at first look, so I will stick to that. Let us know if we are correct or not.
