After about 50 tries, I only got ONE picture of my crested in the air..
It's all blurry... but I think it's still nice :p

wow, impressive shots! makes me wanna try the same, but seeing as my camera only likes to actually take a picture about a second after i press the button, i dont think ill be getting any shot like that anytime soon.

pretty neat, i'm tempted to try it when i can get outside and try it with my shutter speed way up to like 1/2000th of a second or something.
inside i'd have to have a crapload of light, or some expensive flash set-up which i don't.
still neat though.

Thanks for the comments everybody!

Mike, keep trying :) Try to press the camera button a second early, who knows after how many times you'll get a good one..

Andrew, I only use my table lamp for this one. With ISO 1600, I only get 1/640th of a second which is still not fast enough to capture it crisp in focus.
Yeah I would also like to try to photograph this outside, under the bright sun next time.
But I'm afraid if I bring the gecko outside, it's gonna run away :?

i'm looking forward to trying to get some when it warms up outside though.
here's kind of a funny picture of my male U. sikorae doing an air walk to the glass. i was pulling stuff out of the cage to clean it, and when they drop they stop like nothing can see them if they don't move, here's how he ended up.

i know it's not a crested, but i thought you may enjoy the photo.
