Umm, sand is kinda just as bad. Why not change it to tile? :D Tile is nice, absorbs heat well, and there is no possible impact risk. :D

I think she meant usually when she typed "jusely". The gravel they're talking about is the white stuff on the top two shelves. And the rocks your in your first two pictures. Any loose substrate is bad for a leo...carpet, papertowel, tile...etc are good to use as substrates. This debate/argument is hashed over on every forum I see. Some people think loose substrate is fine...but most have the opinion that it's bad. They can accidentally swallow it and become impacted..,they can die from it.

I love the whole set up...it's a great idea and looks nice...(except the gravel)...good job.

On another note, we just got an Ikea here. Everyone is so excited about it...I can't wait to go, but I'm going to wait until the line of cars to get in is less than a mile long. That'll be another few months, I'm sure. I hear it's a really great place to shop.

Good, I'm happy for your leo that you're going to change the gravel. Tile looks nice...but so does carpet. Paper towels are easy for clean up. Have fun redecorating.

And, don't worry about your English...you're doing fine. There are some people whose first language is English and they don't do as well as you ... LOL :p

Very shabby, very shabby indeed

Those stone structures you got in there are they glued togheter or? If not they might be a bit dangerous for the gecko if they were to fall over!

BTW; The cave looking hides you got, are those the medium or the big ones? Thinking of buying one of those myself for my newbuilt terriarium!

Sand is no better and kills lots of leos, If you want to set it up with sand and the slate rocks you can but just make sure the only part that the sand isnt covered by the slate rocks is the corner they poop in, for easy clean up.

Im sooo in love with Atlas and Athena....Lovely choko´s
The viv is also very nice looking...I prefer a simpler set-up at my house for easy cleaning:)
