Got Eggs from my levis pair!

I decided to clean up the cage of my levis pair today. They started to burrow themselves and so I haven't seen them at all in 3 days.
I started digging their sand carefuly to find them. I eventually found them, but i think the male is just surprised by my hand and decided to cut-off his tail. :(
So sad, is nephrurus tail going to grow back?

Then I removed them from their cage to continue cleaning the cage thoroughly. I still carefully browsing through the sand because I know the female might already laid her eggs.
And guess what? I found 2 big eggs... :D
I don't know how nephrurus levis eggs supposed to look like. But she laid on the damp area of the cage, and the eggs feels kinda soft but firm. Is that normal?

Hi,

Congrats on the eggs! The levis tail will grow back but unfortunately, it won't have the knob on it. Besides that, he should be perfectly fine so no need to worry. Just make sure he is well fed and that the wound is kept relatively clean.

Ken, I know you're breeding amyae right?
What temp do you use for your amyae eggs incubation? Does levis use the same temp range for incubation?
