Problem with berber skink

Ihave berber for 9 years now and recently he began to have some problems with breathing - he breaths hard and he is jawning a lot and doesn't want to eat because of that, what can I do for him? Any suggestions?Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a respiratory infection. Try raising the temperatures in his cage. If that doesnt work I would reccommend a trip to the vet to get some antibiotics.

I think that also(resp. probs) but I don't have qualified vets for reptiles or other small animals so I don't know what to give him?If someone knows please tell me if I can give him some antibiotics myself?

P.s. I raised temps and he is basking all day but he is jawning a lot, maybe now less, but he don't want to eat because of that problem.How can I force him to eat? He lost some weight but it is not so much I think.
