#6!

Well, decided to do weights on my females today and I'm now able to confirm that the female I got from Marcus is gravid with clutch #6. A whopping 19.3 grams (total weight gain of 4 g since egglaying) and no male introduction since well before I received them in November. The eggs were blaring at me as soon as I picked her up today to do the weights.

The female that I brought back from Cameron Highlands is also putting on weight like a champ (18.4 g, also a 4 g weight gain since egg laying) and I'm pretty sure she's gravid again too!

This is very interesting and exciting stuff.

Look here, most viable clutches Ive ever gotten is 4 in a year, grasshopper is not supposed to outdo the master. You took the pebble and ran with it :D Good stuff woman, looks like the things weve been talking about are coming to fruition.I think we shall see more if the theory proves correct.I wish I could keep my temps under 80 all year.I would own too much stock in PGE by the time I tried to do that. Those of us in parts of Cali know exactly what Im talking about.

My temps are still 67-71 right now.. until we get a warming trend.. I'm just glad that I'm able to shed a little more light to the felinus puzzle.

I had to move my oldest eggs back in the main room so I can start warming them up for hatch. They are just a week shy of 4 months incubating now. Hopefully this will trigger them to hatch.

:)
