Does she look gravid??? pics

Well this one milii just won't lay. I put the male in on 4/20 and noticed breeding right away. I also saw breeding a few times after that. Her starting weight was 21 grams now she is 25 grams. She just is taking very long to lay. She looks big compared to my other 2 females.

I agree with Michael. I would have thought that the last pic would have shown some very obvious eggs, especially if she is supposed to be quite a way along with her 'pregnancy.'
If you had shown those pix without us knowing any of the geckos history, I would have simply thought, "Yeah, nice fat gecko there."

I don't think she's pregnant. When my female had eggs, you could clearly see them from the bottom ánd the side. I think it's just a pretty fat animal.

I guess everybody is saying she isn't pregnant so why wouldn't she be?? I have seen them mate before and everything. I am just wondering what did I do wrong??

How often do people come across strile males?? They mated for easily 10-15 min. each time.

Any help would be great.

Well my fat tails have been togehter for 2 months and still no eggs from my female.Havent seen them breed.But the male has bred before with a different female i have and she produced eggs.SO first time breeders i guess might take some time before the start to develop eggs.Shes Def healthy though/

Pretty sure this topic has been covered at least twice in the past couple months in this particular forum. There were pics included with both posts (if I remember correctly) if you were interested in seeing a gravid female.

Yeah she eats well and everything is running the way it should, except no eggs LOL. She has been bred by the previous owner once so she isn't a first time breeder. The male is though, but he seems to enjoy his ladies

If anybody has any hints as to what could be the problem?? I kept the male and female in a 10 gallon warm spot around 88-91 degrees then a cool spot around room temp. mid.-high 70's. Then there is a nest box on the cool end inverted plant thing on the hot end. and a paper towel roll on the side. I have a little tube light over the cool end just to provide some light/photosphere (The light and heat runs from 7am to 9pm)

The nightime temp drops to about 66-70 depending on outside/indoor temp.

She may not have ovulated. Not gonna get many eggs without any ova being produced.

I have no experience breeding U. milli (yet :wink but could it be that she can't find a suitable site to lay her eggs? Is this the fist time either has mated?

I have a moist hide box in the cool end of the tank. About 2.5-3 inches deep. 50/50 mix sand to peat moss. Damp but not to damp.

The female layed 2 clutches last year for the previous owner. It is the males first year breeding, but he seems to get the job done

It could be that he is "firing blanks" as this is his first time, although id expect her to produce eggs, infertile ones but still produce something.

I have my humid hides in the warm end for my geckos but i think its down to personal choice dont think it really makes much difference!
