Digging

Hey, I went out of town last night and when i got back today. I went and checked on my lizzie and found all the coconut fibers that are in her moist hide all in her cage. like she digged it out. Any clue on why she would do that?

shes not getting ready to lay is she? usually when my girls did that they where about to lay. but it could just be that she was digging

no, she wouldnt be laying because i dont have a male. and this is the first time she has ever done that before, ive had the the moist hide with her for about a year

Females will lay even if theve never been with a male.
Of course they arnt fertile but it might have something to
do with the fact that they can store a males sperm within
them which will fertalize the next set of eggs.

your welcome, my sisters leo did the same thing. She was throwing
spagmoss everywhere and she did lay an egg.
