I have Two groups of cresteds consisting 1 male and 1 female that has been together for 4 months.
Just say they're group A and group B.
Then, Yesterday I added 1 new female to each group. They are all about the same sizes and weights.
So now each group consists 1 Male and 2 Females.
In the Group A, the older female, and male are accepting the new Female peacefully. No signs of chasing or biting.
BUT, the Group B.
The older female is suddenly showing aggression chasing the newer female.
I thought it will be okay, she just want to dominate the new female. And sometimes I see the male is chasing the new female too.
Today when I checked on the enclosure, the new Female has dropped her tail...
I didn't really expecting this to happen... sigh.
I thought they'll get along without really hurting the new one like the Group A.
Does anyone has simillar experience?
Should I separate the new female? and introduce her again in a different / neutral environment?
