I house single adults in a 18 x 18 x 36 inch cage and will sometimes house a pair in their... Then I put some pairs and trios in a 24 x 24 x 36 inch cage..

A 20 tall would be kinda small for an adult Henkeli. Although you could put an adult mossy leaf-tail in a 20 tall..

Thanks Erik

I would say at very minimum a single adult U. henkeli should be housed in a 29 gallon aquarium, and for a pair a minimum of a 40 gallon tall aquarium. As for Uroplatus, they seem to come and go in the classifieds, just keep your eyes open, there should be a wave of CB U. henkeli this fall I would imagine.

"40 gallon tall aquarium"...That was the smallest I would go for a pair and still be able to see some natural behavior.

I've got a trio of henks in a 48Tx 48w x 24d and I still have to separate out the male every few weeks to keep them all fresh. I can't justify giving animals "just enough" room - no cage is big enough to recreate natural conditions, but the bigger the better IMHO.
