Just want to share an awesome story...

Okay, Last month I have to go back to Indonesia for one month, and I'm leaving Two chahoua's eggs that were almost hatched to my sister.

When I got back here Last week, my sister told me that only One chahoua successfuly hatched.
I checked the container..., yes I only found one chahoua baby.
I didn't really check the egg shells thoroughly, but I saw only one really torn open. I threw the egg shells away after that.

This morning when I was cleaning up my geckos enclosures, I saw a little chahoua gecko sleeping on the top of my window blinds.
I was so surprised. I thought, huh, how can that little chahouas get out of the container. So I look at the cage and He is Still Inside the cage.

It took me a while to realized the one on the blinds is a different baby, because I was so shocked seeing a loose chahoua on my window.
I got two babies hatched! Yipee

I feel very fortunate that this one is alive, well, and have been Found!
He could have gotten into the sink, toilet, got out of the open windows, etc.
Amazingly this 'lost' baby appears to be bigger than the one I've kept in the container.
Both are healthy eating regularly now...

here're some pics of the lost baby:

Very nice, congratulations! I also breed this species. I have 5 eggs cooking and 2 youngsters hatched 2 weeks ago (after an incubationperiod 133 days). It's a truly awesome species to keep and breed :D

Thanks everyone! I'm just so happy they both hatched since these were my first chahoua eggs..

Tariq, I agree, chahouas are truly magnificent, I love their super prehensile tails!
Where are you located Tariq? and How many pairs do you keep right now?
Mine hatched around 110 days..
It makes me more anxious waiting for them to hatched since I read that only 1/3 to 1/2 of the eggs successfully hatched.
