Out for some sun - klemmeri pics

These are some Phelsuma klemmeri that are a few months old. On the weekends, if I have time, I like to give them a few minutes of direct sun. There's no denying that they love it. Is it beneficial for them? I'm not qualified to say... You just have to be careful that you don't overheat and kill them while doing this.

Just in case anyone was wondering I do not have any klemmeri available for sale. Sorry.

Direct sun is extremely beneficial to all phelsuma and other basking reptiles. The more the better, and yes over heating can be a real issue, and an all screen enclosure is a must Nice geckos..

JB, I looked through years of old ads last night, and I found some guy 3 years ago had 2, 1 year old pairs of ornata for like 200 bucks or something! I was so mad! haha. So I am still trying to get some also.

IM sure you got the cash.But the guy im getting em from isnt letting any go forawhile.So you wont see em anytime soon.

DUde that sucks pairs for 200 DAMN.Thats what my female cost me.But i have a couple people that i might be abel ot get a male from or a 1.1.So its just a waiting game for thouse.I just hope it works out for me.And you.
