This is one of the leos I got off John Watson. Its a really cute blizzard. I haven't checked it for gender yet. But I will get right back with everyone once I find out.

That's the thing, I keep asking John if its a banana blizzard and he swears up and down its not. I don't know what to think any more about that subject. I just think its pretty though. I'm pretty sure its a boy. Still hard to tell though. You can see the pores, but I can also see pores on one of my girls. But I know that one is a girl cause she has laied. So it's always hard to be certain. Expecially at its age. Till I see egg formage, I'm calling it a guy.

I'm betting my boots, that one is a banana, can't understand why i wouldn't!!??
You can't always judge the morph after the genes; a yellow blizzard is a banana. :)

That's what I tried to tell John. Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this. Now I dont feel like such a retard. XD

Sorry John! The mob has spoke!

Some blizzards just aren't as white as others. An actual "banana blizzard" has both blizzard and patternless genes. If you breed your blizzard to a patternless and it produces patternless babies (which would also be het for blizzard and double het for banana blizzard), it's a banana blizzard. If it's just a normal blizzard and you breed it to a patternless, you'll end up with normals that are double het for banana blizzard.

What does John think it is? Looks like a blizzard to me. Maybe he thinks its
a pastel blizzard. HAHA Just kidding lol. Took me a minute to figure out why
it was in such a funny position but i see what its doing. You gonna sell him

Nope I'm gonna keep this one for myself. I like him and I plan on breeding him with some albinos to get me some blazing blizzards.

Albinos and blizzards make normals that are double het for blazing blizzard. You would then need to breed the siblings together to produce blazing blizzards.

Nope she isn't, and yes it is a nesting box, kinda. It's her humid-hide. :)
I have fatten her up with some superworms, for the winter and next years breeding. :p

Most likely just a moist hide. I keep a moist hide with all my leos. They like them a lot for some reason.

They sure do all of mine spend a good amount of time in the moist
hides. Helps keep their skin moist and easy for the next shed.

Do you brumate your leos? Or you just getting her ready for the winter slowdown?

brumate is when you take them away from any male, and make them think its time to stop laying. Its good to do this during the winter on a gecko cause you dont want them to over do it or they wont lay eggs as many eggs in thier life time as they would if you brumate them.

Ok thanks.
Well none of my females live together with a male, they all live "single" except 2 SHTC females.
I've noticed that they feel much better and look nicer when they live alone.
