Andrew decided to whip out the tri-pod and snap a few pictures of one of our pairs of U. henkeli the other night...(all pictures were taken with a 15-30 second shutter speed)
This is a picture of the male, showing one of my favorite things about the Uroplatus genus...camouflage!! It's fun to have people over and say ''yea theres actually 3 geckos in that enclosure''....and they just search around forever in confusion! Truly an amazing genus! Anyway here he is...
and a close-up of the same male...check out those eyes!
Here is the female that he was paired up with before we got them...we currently have one egg in the incubator from them...now we are just waiting in full anticipation for the hatchling!
