Floptail in Uroplatus

Is the condition known informally as Floptail (common in phelsuma, due to a lack of calcium and d3 in the gecko diet) known at all in Uroplatus? I think i recall seeing an exhibit that had some with floptial, but I'm not sure. Anyways, one of my baby guentheri is currently sitting on a dracanea leaf wiht tail cocked up, but i'm not sure what it means. Can anyone help?

well, nevermind about any worries of it being floptail, she is merely waving her tail around. I presume she is hunting. Amazing creatures.

the flop tail is seen in uroplatus when i first started out years ago with henkle i had some hatchlings that had this, and it was corrected by trial and error. i caught it right in the beginnig.

i had it in an adult female henkeli who had been breeding. i believe something else might have also been in play, she crashed within 2 or 3 days of the tail becoming floppy.

Pseudothecadactylus lindneri also do it occasionally but usually in poorly raised juveniles. It doesn't seem to bother them though. My "floppy" pair still breed just fine.
