I was wondering if this was uncommon. I know its ralitively easy to train standingi but i never thought to do so with grandis. Well the grandis i got bout a month ago is readally taking crickets out of my hand. I can also get him to come onto my my to get one them hell run back into the cage. Ill try and get pictures just thought id share.

if the crickets would stay long enough in my hand, moof would come right to them, but they never do.

my klemmeri arent hand shy at all. Ive had them climb on my hands looking for food, scared me a lot more then them.

I've noticed that with klemmeri too, they are very inquisitive... As quickly as you can put them in the viv they are back out on your hand looking for something to do. My grandis is nothing like that lol, he is very shy of anything going in his enclosure.

I have attempted to hold my grandis but they end up freaking out and bolting, so the most I do now with them is hand feed crickets. When the eggs hatch I would like to try to get a baby to be tame.

yeah, they are very cautious, grandis. I tried to hold mine once, and she bolted EVERYWHERE. lol. But yesterday I got my Uroplatus onto my hand, and she was good until she decided my hand wasnt as nice as, say, my camera. and then the outside of the cage. and then the floor. haha. took me forever to get her back in. funny.

My female grandis will walk onto my hand and begin to lick my fingers. If i get too close to my male he will bite my finger...
