I am trying to find a way to provide my Bavayia with a more natural, less sanitary substrate yet keep it so it is easy to find eggs.
I figure if Cypress would work then I could use a peat moss laying box and make it more damp than the cypress that way they will lay in the nest box and I won't have to destroy the whole cage when I search for eggs.
Any help would be appreciated,
