Lost and found

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd share an interesting story. About 10 months ago I moved and lost a coggeri female. About a 2 months later I moved again and figured she was gone forever. Anyway, I got a call from the last place I lived in and was informed that there was a "lizard" on the floor and when I went over to help them move it outside, it turned out to be the lost coggeri female! She looks pretty good and hopefully, she will breed in a few months. For everyone out there that has lost a few geckos, don't lose hope, most of the time they show up, even after extended periods of time! Now if only I can find that loose robusta...

That's a good story! Glad you got her back, and she doesn't look too bad either, maybe she found some spiders or something to eat.....I wonder what her source of water was? So weird to think about what it must have been doing all that time to survive.

Very cool!

Yes in good health. There's aways a tale with the return of escapees

Couple of years ago a mate lost a male subadult castelnuai. He lives around 2000km south of their range. A year later he found it on the front of the house. It's the largest of the group now-found fat and healthy, and big!

Pity I cant find the hatchling castlenaui that jumped out of the tub on opening last year. Maybe it lives happily inside the computer.....

Years ago when living in the UK I lost a hatchling black rat snake. My elderly next door neighbour who loved a tipple, found it, 12 month later. She came banging on my door..."please tell me I'm not seeing things" all anxious and worried, and pulled me into her house. "No you're not, it's mine" I say as I scooped it up and took it away. I was worried about what she would think, and she was relieved she wasn't having alcoholic hallucinations! So all was good.

Hey Derek,

Glad you found her bro! I didn't think I was going to find my female robusta but you were right...she did pop up! And like I said before, the garage she was in was a MESS!

I'll give you a call later, just saw your number on the Caller ID and my girl never told me you called.

I'll talk to you later man ;-)

Very cool stories, you should be thankful to have gotten that beautiful coggeri back, and she still looks very healthy! That says a lot about the hardiness of these beauties.
