Hi,

Well I walked out to the gecko room and saw a big dirt nest in the Phyllurus cage and then I lifted up the rock and there was my female!! So I moved her and there were 2 perfect eggs. She was 22 grams yesterday and I could see eggs in her but only saw one so I was surprised when I saw 2!! She was put in with the male on 2-9-07 so just about 1.5 months gestation period.

Here are some pics, she is a lot thinner now LOL :) Now the wait begins...uggg

And my new little gems:

The female is still out there digging around, trying to find her eggs guess. Feel bad I snatched them out of her nice little nest.

I am so stoked!!

Enjoy,
Derek

Big congrats Derek! Let us know how they turn out. I would have guessed that females were larger than 22g but ah well, I have a better visualization for the future.

Thanks, yeah I will post pics when they hatch. I am checking the incubator constantly making sure they are ok. I am incubation them at 72 degrees F. So hopefully a few will be female.

Anybody use Hatchrite?? Expirinces? I am using it as the incubation medium.

Ryan- I talked with others and they all though 22 grams was huge, but I am interested in hearing what other people's breeding weights are.

That's great news! Now it's just a matter of waiting before they hatch... a waiting that always seems longer that it in reality is
