Q's about breeding fat-tails...

I have a pair that I introduced 4 weeks ago for the first time...I witnessed some tail wiggling and separated them 8 days after and there were no eggs till now(about 3 weeks later or more) So I am courious how much time needs to pass for her to lay, if she has eggs? I think she doesn't have them, atleast I can't see them...

So I introduced them again yesterday and saw again some tail wiggling, but I am courious what could be the reason for not copulating and wanted to know how do you guys do it generally, any tips would be greatly appreciated. Also if someone can post some ventral pics of male and female, just to be sure, cose I think I see some hemoral pores present in females also, but not so obvious...

I am sure they are mature both and are unrelated...
Can it be that now is late for breeding? Temps are high here, but...

I've seen anywhere from 7 days (exception in an obese female) to ~50 days. ~1 month usual though for what I saw.

I leave my male with females for the entire season. That might get you a better chance of good eggs.

A cooling period or a humidity shift seems to activate things for me.

I keep mine together all year round. In the winter I don't cool them very much, only a little due to the decrease in room temperature. In the summer I start misting them rather often and that has always done the trick with me, 7 years in a row.
