don't keep them too moist with that vermiculite. They are tiny aren't they?? You may want to incubate on perlite, but I'm not sure if its necessary. Good luck with them!

Congrats on your first eggs.:) I have never had a problem with Strophurus eggs being too moist. They are forgiving, tough little buggers. I treat them exactly like leopard gecko eggs and hatch them in moist vermiculite just as you have them. I use 6:1 by volume (vermiculite:water), which is pretty close to 1:1 by weight. I keep them in closed 23cm deli cups with six 2mm holes in the cups for ventilation. I have hatched several dozen eggs and every one hatched:D. (and every hatchling survived well). If anything I worry about them drying out in the egg box before I find them. I've had two clutches I didn't get to quickly and the eggs were wrinkled a fair amount. I put them in the vermiculite and gave an extra spray of water around the eggs (not on so as not to cut off oxygen). They all rehydrated and hatched. Like I said, tough little buggers. Good luck with them.

Regards,
John
