So my buddy runs the local reptile specialty shop here in town, and today I went by to tell him that I just got engaged. He said "congrats! still want those standingi you were looking at? go sex a pair and they're yours."
ya, sexed pair of 6 mo. standingi for free, all I had to do is get engaged. Hmmmm.... it might have been cheaper just to buy the standingi :biggrin:

He he sounds like a win win situation buddy. Standingi have always been a favorite of mine they look sooo cool when they are small, almost fake from far away. Congrats and best of luck with both.

ya, I had a grandis for a little while in highschool, and he was super flighty. These guys are skittish and hard to catch, but mellow once they're out of the cage.

UVB lamp
25gal tank fine?

I keep mine in a 12x12x18 exo so I'm sure a 25 tall is good. I have a 90 hot spot with a mid 80ish low for the day and drops into the high 70's low 80's at night. I dont use UV. . . If you use UV and also anything with vitamin D3 there is a chance they can OD on the D3 so I just use calcium and vitamins and no UV. . but everyone has their own way of doing things. I spray down 1-2 times a day. Also feed crickets (sometimes out of my hand) fruit based yogurt, and some times either gargoyle or crested diet.
