Ben what you have is definatly borbonica borbonica, Jon knows his shit. The coloration of borbonica and borbonica mater are very alike and the coloration/pattern differences in borbonica are vast . Borbonica agalegae seems to a little less vivid in color. Take my borbonica maters for example they are all from a different bloodline, but they are all definatly maters. My smallest one's more of a green base color, my oldest one has a turquoise background, and then i have one that has a base color of deep blue. There is a variation in color and pattern in borbonicas, but that doesn't mean becuase yours doesnt look like some it doesnt mean its not borbonica borbonica or vica versa. And it definatly seems like depending on a borbonicas local affects the color. When you purchase your male just make sure its borbonica borbonica, also somthing i noticed is with male borbonicas there colors seem to be more vivid and they usually contain more blue. By the way, sorry it took me so long to get back to you, im down in cozumel with my family, i'll talk to you more when i get back, and congrats on the babies!
