what camera are you using? I'm looking into getting a macro lens this year for my Nikon D50 but just don't know a good focal length for the geckos and anything i might encounter outdoors

I am using a 60mm f1:2.8 Canon macro lens for my Digital Rebel XTi. So far, I am very pleased with it.

How far are you from the geckos when you take a shot? I'm trying to decide what focal length to buy and which will work best for me.
