This is my first post on the crested side of this forum. I have had 2 pairs for over a year now( pairs in different cages) and have seen mating for the first time Monday night. When should I be looking for eggs in the cage? Will she lay another clutch soon after? Thank for your antisipated help.

),
Usually you can count around 4 weeks till from the first mating ... If it is the fist time for the female at all it could be last a bit longer ...!
It experienced even spaces of 3 weeks inbetween two clutches ...
I guess it depends on the food and temperatures ... :?
Yes of curse she will go on laying eggs, on and on for about 4 or 5 times without any male ... (don't know the technical term in english :roll
But you keep them together, so I guess she will after the forth still go on ...
In that case keep attention that she won't 'burn out' ...
