Hey,

Well I got a pair Diplodactylus byrnei a couple weeks ago from Clark and have to say they are one of my favorite Diplo species. Unlike most of the other species, these guys come right out and stare you right in the face. They kinda remind me of my dog, when they see you they follow you around the cage and when you have food they basically sit and beg for it.

Hopefully they will breed for me later this year :D

Yes I aggree with you, this species has realy a cool behavior; all my specimens are also not shy at all and look at you, often with their head directed towards the top.
When I often them a crix from my hand above their head, they most of the time jump and just catch the crix without hesitation.
A great addition you have done there,
Fred

I can only imagine that these are a cool specie to have. I like that these guys have an outgoing personality, but I haven't heard them gibber yet. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck feeding wax worms to the diplos? I've tried to feed them these or phoenix worms but they don't seem to like anything of that nature why is that? Is it because they don't experience to many of these grub or larvae in nature?

Derek,
I am sorry that I felty so bad and ad to let you go today. I am really tickled that you like them as much as I do. They are by far the coolest Diplodactylus species that I have had thus far.

I hope to hear from you about them when they are older. I will help you in the breeding of them because, it is not so straight forward as many of the other Diplodactylus species.

I am sure that Fred can agree with me there.

Talk to you again when I am over this flu or whatever I have.

Your good friends,

Thanks Everyone :D

Oli- I haven't tried waxworms, I have tried Phoenix worms (similar in structure and everything) and they didn't touch them. Someone told me mini-meaworms work.

No worries Clark, I'll talk to you when you get well, glad I'm not sick anymore.
