My new pair of Helmeteds...

These are my new pair of Helmeted geckos (Tarantola chazaliae). They are from Kroakykaren and the rest of the team at The Tropical Team in Gtaeshead. Also I think my little girl is gravid!
I am so impressed at these little guys, they are excellent quality! I've had a trio in the past but I bought them out of pity as they had calcium deficiency, I lost both females soon after buying them and I let the male go to a friend as I couldn't find any more females.
I have names these lil' guys Sherman and Panzer as they look like little tanks.
Anyway enough of my talk here they are...

This is Sherman

Hope you like them! Anyone else on here keeping these could you tell me what sort on incubation medium you use and what temperature you incubate at please? I've had a look for care sheets but there only seems to be one I can find which is really good, which is this one:
Helmeted Gecko / Hjälmgecko - Geckonia/Tarentola chazaliae
Can anyone recommend any other good care guides?

I meant to add that this is the vivarium they are being kept in, it is 36 inch x 15 inch x 15 inch, as you can see there are lots of hides in the hot and cold end. They are kept at hot spot of 90 degrees and an ambient temperature of 78 - 80. Does this sound OK?

Set up looks good. I incubate them on dry sand in the incubator...similar to phelsuma eggs. I have been hatching them at 81-82F and have had good success.

hmmmmmmm............ I think they're up next on my list, right after Pachydactylus monicae and Uroplatus guentheri.

i have some helmies...and i love em. but i have also lost some, and i am assuming it was an issue with calcium...i would suggest dusting every feeding.
