Extreme tiger project

A few year's ago, i bought a creamsicle female crested. Bred her a few times, and i hatched out a lot of these really cool tigers with TONS of stripes! And she kept producing them a couple times a year. Unfortunately, i didn't hold as many back as i would have liked to  . So i now have this adult male breeding for me as well as the mother. We've been VERY careful not to burn her out. So now what i'm trying to do is produce tigers with ton's of stripes. Right now all we have is the stripes with an orange background. In the next few seasons we hope to produce reds, olives, yellows, etc. We have him with a really cool female. She's got a WHITE dorsal and an orange background as well as red tiger stripes. We love the white back thing [not pin, not bicolor] so were also trying to inject that into a couple of my babies. I probably won't make any available unless i end up with a surplus of males.

Heres the original female:

And heres the male:

that looks like a promising project!
we have an extreme tiger that we are really looking forward to breeding.
don't have a recent photo, but here is an old one before he/she came out of the "ugly duckling" phase and not totally fired up:

WOW!! S/he is nice! do you know the sex yet?
its looking like a female at the moment, but its so hard to see pores when the damn thing tries to escape every time you open the vivarium! We will probably breed it regardless of what sex it is. Hopefully it will be a female though, which it is looking like at the moment, so fingers crossed!

Thanks very much! and good luck with your project! if only we could borrow each others tigers to try to make something really amazing!

thanks! i was thinking that too, and then i realized you lived in England :( .

panther, i agree 100%. Tiger's [in my opinion] are some of the most stunning morphs, however no one really has a huge desire for them. I think eventually once, the tiger morph get's more colors, and more stripes they will be more popular and more expensive.

TY! Thats Gaz, I'm pairing him with a red bi-color female this year. Should be a fun match. I agree that tigers tend to be an over looked crested morph. There is a lot can be done with them and because of this I plan on always having a tiger project going.

This is a prob. female I picked up a few months ago. She is turning out very nice. Hard to tell in the picture but she has a part reverse pin running from her neck to mid-back.

I'm not familiar with these little guys, but the colors and striping, wow. Do they get more intense(color) when mating/aggravated? How big do they get too, and are they active during the day? Sorry for all the questions, new to herp. world and amazed by all the different types available.
