How much weight should juvinile cresteds gain in a month? Are they slow growers? I'm feeding repashy crested gecko MRP and dusted crickets. My geckos (1.1) don't have a very big appetite.

The baby Cresties I have who only got Crestie diet grow much slower than the ones I had before I knew that diet existed. Those are the ones who only got fruit and crickets. They grew much faster than the ones on MRP (and some times they get crickets). The cresties I have om MRP who are 1 month old are now 6 grams... From the ones who didn't get the MRP I don't have the weights anymore since thats a few years ago. But I noticed that the Cresties on MRP stay smaller for a long time and it takes longer to reach adult size....
Hope this helps.

Well, the appetite thing could be due to temperature. My guys have a great appetite in a temperature range from 74-78*F. The addition of crickets (protein) to the diet will help speed up the growth. In my experiences, under these conditions, the babies will reach adult size in about 12-14 months (I'm not really sure how much weight per month). Do keep feeding them the MRP though, it is good for vitamins and such. And be sure to add calcium and vitamins to the crickets as it is very important for a growing gecko.

I keep my cresties in a Temp. range of 74-80 F (80 is the max.)
My "non MRP" cresties reach adult size in about10-12 months. And my "MRP" cresties reach adult size in about 12-14 months.
And just like niccoliherp said, just keep feeding them the MRP, it's good food!

Thanks for the info.

I'm going to raise the temp to 78 and continue the same diet. The pair were housed in a 29 gal aquarium with a 25 watt(blue) lamp for heat. Recently I moved them to seperate plastic tubs(18'' tall) with under tank heaters. Maybe some solitude will minimize any stress. I've had these guys for 3 weeks.

Can't wait to get some eggs!!
