Exo-terra compact top question

Alright, I bought the exo-terra compact light fixture that holds on UV bulb. After I bought it, it said it is designed for use on the exo-terra glass terrarium(you know, the one with the built in rock background?), and I am wondering whether or not it would be safe to use on a 15 gallon aquarium that is going to be the home of a cordylus tropidosternum. Thanks muchly.

It can be used on any tank.

Keep in Mind that Glass and Plexiglass will effect The effectiveness of its UVA/UVB spectrum because they filter both as light passes through it.

What type of Lid are you planning on using?
Are you planning on sitting it directly on the Lid or supporting it some how?

Ok, I was pretty sure it could work for any tank, but just wanted to know for real.


The top of the tank is screen, and that is what it is sitting on.
