lineatus in europe?

Can no Uroplatus be imported into Europe, even captive bred animals?

I have enquired about it as well and apparently the shipping costs are suually around $1000 so you would need a lot of spare money to throw around or get several people interested in clubbing together for it. Ryan, if you intend to get a shipment of CB uroplatus in from the USA (I believe that they have to be F2 CB but I am not sure) then I would be interested in being in on it as well, as I am sure Will would be.
I would keep an eye out on TERRARISTIK.COM Terraristik, Amphibien, Reptilien, Insekten uvm. and maybe do a search to see who reguarly breeds them.
I hope you manage to find some and I will continue to keep an eye out

Would the 1000$ only cover the shipment or also the paperwork, vet and all those other things that are necessary to get the animals here? But i wonder, aren`t there US people that come to hamm anyway with animals? So they could bring them with them.
I know, there would still be some money for the shipment, but it would be lower, not?

I am not sure about what exactly that cost covers, all I know is that the costs are high so you would need to make it worth while by putting a fair bit of money into it. I think there are a few breeders that come over from america but I don't think it is very often they do that, probably because CITIES requirements put them off (I think you are right in saying there is a lot of paperwork.)
But you are right, we need more people from the USA coming over with their uroplatus. New bloodlines would be helpful for us all.

If we do this, i think i know a lot more people that would participate in this, thrustworthy people. Just need to find an nice US-citizen or Canadian that would help us.

Neil Meister. He lives in Halifax, Canada.
He does great work with uroplatus.
I know he produces lineatus, henkeli, phantasticus, sikorae, and I know he has done ebenaui. Also produces other rare gecko species too. He's wrote articles on Uroplatus for Reptiles Magazine and is one of the founding and current officers of the Global Gecko Association.
Don't quote me on this but I think he has done some International shipping.
