So my juvinile tangerine is about 6 weeks old. I was just wondering if it looks too skinny or normal. I know its eating about 3 crickets a day. I just never get to see it in action lol.

Hey there,

For what i can see, she doesn't appear to be skinny:biggrin:
3 crickets is quite normal for a young animal off this age, although I have a four weeks old baby myself who eats like a maniac!!:coverlaugh:
Good luck with her!
Kind regards,

Cindy

Yah, the tail does look a bit skinny to me, too. Hopefully it will fatten up as you keep the dusted, gut-loaded crickets coming. Are her stools normal?

IDK much about geckos, but I have read that feeding an occasional pinkie mouse will help "fatten" one up. However IDK if this is good for a younger gecko. Pinkies are supposedly unhealthy, but I have only heard of that once... Nevermind! Ask someone else about pinkies, because my ideas probably aren't too good.:sorry:

If it is only 6 weeks old, it's tail should be a little fatter, but not by much. Letting her start feeding on however much she'll eat within ten minutes is a good way to put on some weight.

if anything to plump it up feed it some waxworms to fatten that sukka up thats what i did with my albino

are you only offering it 3 crickets a day, or is that all it will eat? and how big are the crix?
If you want to fatten it up, keep a bowl of mealworms in the enclosure at all times.
