Smooth knobies?

I was wondering is there any difference in care of all the smooth knobtail species? Also can you hold them at cleaning time to get them out or herd them into a cup? Ty

I've personally never kept any of them, but I do know that the care of the different species is very different. I can also tell you that as a whole they are not very handleable, but I've know of a few that were pretty mellow.

I keep N. levis levis and honestly they hide all day. But when night falls they come and do really neat things. But most of Nephrurus i believe sleeps all day and plays all night!

Here's a good web site with info about the various smooth knobbies: Kin's knob-tailed geckos

I love them personally. Mine are all pretty easy to handle for the most part. But they will let you know when they want to be left alone. At night, most of mine are pretty active.
