one of my female leos sneezed when i went to got shut the lid of the cage she was in, i heard one of them sneeze before, but wasnt sure which one it was. is this a bad thing?
many reptiles express salts through nasal glands. thus they sneeze. my skink is famous for this and i seem to remember my leo's doing it too when i had them.
if it is a constant thing then i might be concerned. if not its normal. also they will sneeze like us if dust gets in their nose. if there is mucus or puss then you have an infection. if a slight crust this may just be the salt that collects on the nostril.
Never heard a sneeze, but I think one of mine yawned. She is the one I think is gravid from unknown causes. Sher just kinda opened her mouth really wide and then closed it. No noise or anything.
shes a very healthy gecko, shes only done it twice, but im not sure, like i said i didnt see which one sneezed the first time, her nose is clear, shes not acting out of the ordinary, so i shouldnt be worried?
