18th birthday...

What should I do for my party? I have no idea what to do. All my friends are like "have a house party". But then I know they'll bring beer. I don't drink or smoke. So I don't want any of that around me. I have a pretty decent sized lot. We're on a 10 acre rectangle. The un-wooded area is about 60feetx30feet. Mom's redecorating at the moment. So I know I'm going to have to have it outside... What would be an easy, but fun way to have a party? I've never had one before... and since I'm going to be 18. My parents decided I'm old enough for a birthday party. =] They're only giving me $200 for it all.

Have a costume party . Make it a theme , like say toga ,or cops and robbers , cowboys indians , anything really . Maybe have a fire ? Tell people if they bring alcohol that they have to bring a tent to sleep in and hand over there keys .

I'm not doing alcohol. At all. I'm strictly against it. The costume thing is over rated here... especially because my birthday is in October. =[ My best friend was born the 30th. so sheALWAYS has some sort of costume thing going.


I guess I'll just pull out the big screen on the porch and break out the DDR mats. That usually entertains them...
