Leo tail regeneration?

Anyone know how long it might take for part of a 3- or 4-month-old leo's tail to grow back? She had a bad shed, and I had to cut off about an inch of her tail, but she still has the majority of it left. Will it grow back funny looking like a completely dropped tail, or will it grow back as it was before? For that matter, will it even grow back at all? I want to know how long this will take, and what I should be looking for, good or bad. Thanks!

ya i am not quite sure how long it takes, i think it varies from gecko to gecko. as for the look of it it's gonna look like a half normal tail half regenerated tail, it's looks kind of weird.

sounds like a spam. anyways i was wonderin about the time it take to regenerate as well. i have a gecko that lost its tail about 2 weeks ago. its healing nice but the regen is going to take some time.

It took my male five and a half months to fully regenerate his tail. It's new tail looks quite like his old tail, but it laks a full pigmentation. There are only some spots on the base off it's tail, and the rest is completely pink.
It now feels like a winegum by the way!

Geez. Well, thanks for the input, everyone. It'll be interesting to see how it all turns out. I'm curious as to whether that small fraction of her tail will grow back, at all. It seems to be just healing over and coming to a little bit of a point, like the normal tail... Just looks a little shorter and a bit more stubby at the end :) In any case, it'll be interesting to watch and see what happens. I've still been applying neosporin for that past few days, just in case. I'll try to post some pics soon.
