My New Vivarium!

OK, I know this isn't housing a gecko, but I think that it could. So I'm posting up some pics to get some suggestions, for when I do my gecko viv. Also would like some help on plants to place in this viv. Everything I looked at was just too big. The point is I would love some constructive critisism and advice for next time. You can also let me know if you like it :biggrin:. heres the pics!

And here is a video of the water fall. I was worried that it wouldn't work right, but it worked better than I thought!

It's so empty. I would suggest more plants.
Try some more moss, tropical and water plants.
Also it looks like the waterfall takes half of the volume of the vivarium.

Try java moss...it's an aquatic moss that when given enough humidity turns terrestrial. You'll have things lush and green in no time.

Thanks Marty, I will look into that moss. I do have some moss in there, just hasn't been given long to grow. And the waterfall does take up room, but the frogs use the space, and I kinda like the rocky feature. All the tropical plants I have actually seen are just to big for this tank, take up too much space. I want some kinda climbing plant, but haven't been able to find I that I have seen others use. I'm kinda worried about ordering plants online, don't want it to show up and be not what I was expecting.

If you want a plant that will grow well, but will need trimming as it will probably grow very well in your setup, try the creeping fig - Ficus pumila. Sometimes home depot has it. Put a note on dendroboard, I'm sure many people will send you clippings for free.

Rockwork looks really nice, but a creeping fig to the right of the viv would look awesome, along with moss growing along the bottom and some sides too.
