Ok so this might be a silly question. I have a pet care guide that says to feed my madagascar giant day gecko 3-4 times a week.. so i dropped like 4-5 crickets in on sat (today is monday).. yesterday (sunday) there were still a couple left so i figured 4-5 at a time was a good amount... Today i dropped in 4 or 5 this morning, and now its only 3pm and i moved around some things and there is only 1 left! Enzo (my gecko) doesnt seem to like to eat when im there so I'm assuming he's getting them. is this normal for them to eat this much? I would feel much better if i could watch him eat them so i know they arnt just hiding somewhere

So my main question is.. how many crickets should i be feeding enzo and how many times per week? I also feed him fruit. I just dont want to over/under feed him :)

I don't have a Madagasgar giant, but here's my schedule for feeding my gold dust and my P. klemmeri: Wed. and Sat. baby food mixture with vitamins and calcium; Mon. and Friday crickets. I give each about 4 small dusted crickets. I've been doing this for 3 1/2 years with the gold dust and about 2 years with the P. klemmeri. I never see them eat the crickets but they don't seem to be around in the cage either, except sometimes with the gold dust who lives in a larger cage.

Thanks for the insight! Interesting. Is there a chance of him over eating? or will he just eat until he's full..
