My female doesn't wave her tail like that but I love it when she licks nectar from my finger.

People are catching on! If you have any Phelsuma, you should have a P. klemmeri or two or four..........

Sure start with 2, or 4, and then you'll just want more and more and more. I swear I could have a couple hundred klemmeri and still be thinking " Geez, I'd love to get a few more of these guys:biggrin:"
Cool video too! Thanks for posting it.

I love it when folks come out to see me and I say, the P. klemmeri is my favorite! They ask why, and by the time they leave they are completely hooked!

I am working on my P. klemmeri tank right now Julie! You did get me hooked lol

OP, way to tease us with the video. Thanks!

That's cool Leif!!!

One of my favorite things to do with them is to sit in a chair right next to their set-up. At first they will hide, then you will see heads poking around the corner, in only the way P. klemmeri can do that! Then they will start coming out and getting close to where you are sitting. Pretty soon you can take your finger up to the glass and they will follow it!

I remember one of the juvies doing this for you as I was there. It was a kick.

Mine arent shy of me at all. I can open the lid, and they will walk right out onto my hand and just explore around the tanks and my hands. They are a super fun gecko, Cant wait to start getting some eggs! Hopefully next year!

You'll love the babies. Just like the parents, just like they were color xeroxed!

Yea,
I have a young pair that are almost adults, So next year ill have some babies. I wonder if i can keep Lygodactylus williamsi and Ph. klemmeri babies together? That would be a cool set up!

I would not do it as it would take a chance on someone not surviving. P. klemmeri babies are huge compared to other Phelsuma that are bigger as adults, like P. laticauda.

Mine do the finger following too! I think the most amazing thing is that all 15 of mine have different personalities! Some are shy and will hide when I'm around (females mostly) and some will display at me (like in the vid). Some will lick nectar from my finger and some will even hop onto my hand if I put some crickets in it! They are just so curious and I love that!

The trick is to set them up so they are really healthy and happy and then they will make new klemmeri for you!
